2. Calendula oil is another good soothing agent for the burn, sting or itch from psoriasis. In order to treat the symptoms of psoriasis mix 2 cups of calendula flowers (dried) with virgin oil (1 quart) (extra virgin) and vitamin oil (1 teaspoon).
Heat olive oil over low flame but do not let it simmer. In the next step stir in calendula flowers and leave it for 24 hours (uncovered) and stir it at intervals. After 24 hours strain it but make sure that oil is pressed out of the flowers. Then add vitamin E oil. Rub this mixture on the affected skin parts that are burning, stinging or itching. 3. Apple cider is great for reducing burning and itching linked with psoriasis and it also eliminates inflammation of skin. You can also mix apple cider (1 cup) to water (1 gallon) and apply it to the affected parts directly.
4. Here is an effective recipe for scalp psoriasis sufferers. Massage into a scalp with bit of olive oil. After few minutes shampoo with any good medicated shampoo that doctor usually prescribes for scalp psoriasis.
